The Quilted Bear 100 English Paper Piecing Templates, 1.5" Hexagons

Make beautifully precise patchwork with The Quilted Bear English Paper Piecing Templates. Each pack contains 100 identical pre-cut EPP papers made from lightweight card, neatly supplied in a storage box and ready to wrap with your chosen fabrics. The firm shapes provide support while folding and stitching, saving time spent measuring, drawing and cutting individual templates.

Choose from three classic hexagon sizes - 1", 1.5" and 2" - for creating hexie quilts, Grandmother’s Flower Garden blocks, honeycomb layouts, rosettes and appliqué motifs. Alternatively, select our 60° diamonds in 1" or 2" sizes to form six-point stars, tumbling blocks, cube effects and striking geometric patterns. All sizes are measured along one straight edge.

Simply position a paper piece on the reverse of your fabric, leave a seam allowance, then fold and baste the fabric around the shape. The firm, consistently cut templates help form matching sides, defined corners and neatly aligned hand-sewn patchwork. Once the adjoining seams are secure, use the punched centre hole with a pin, stiletto or crochet hook to help lift out the paper without disturbing the folded fabric edges.
